Monthly Highlights — Don’t Fight — Educate

Important tech and product updates, new artists on board, and much more happening in the Pixeos world in this 5th edition of the Pixeos Monthly Digest.🙌

Tech Updates

🤩 We launched 3D GLB assets support. It’s an interesting feature, and we are aiming to develop this functionality further paving the way to VR.

🤩 Dollar values. To facilitate the understanding of artwork prices our team integrated USD prices live update. This allows users to visualize the prices without the need for calculations and conversions from the cryptocurrency market.

🤩 Pixeos Phygital. A blockchain authenticity system for physical artworks and collectibles powered by near field communication technology (NFC).

Over the last months, the team worked hard on the implementation of NFC tech to our provenance system that is ready for launch!

The first physical artwork will be on sale in the gallery already next week! More information in the following section ART.

ART, ART, ART!

SCULPTURES

As previously announced, Jon Noorlander’s collection of 21 fine digital art pieces, called ‘Sculptures’, exclusive in Pixeos Gallery is published.

Jon is an important and popular designer and digital artist and as a homage to the artist, our team has designed a dedicated landing page inside, themed on the artist style, where we are hosting those beauties.🙃

It showcases the 3 opening artworks that are already for sale (18 more to come!) and the upcoming artworks that will be available to collect in the future.

In our gallery initial roadmap, the skin system was planned and inspired by Jon’s Sculptures page, a completely different color scheme, soon to be available in the whole gallery as an alternative to the actual dark theme! The white background emphasized the fascinating shapes and brightness of Jon’s pieces.

Get to know Jon Noorlander better in the interview by Jilian Godsill discussing his art career, the viral effect of Exploding heads, and how the Sculptures were created.

First physical artist powered by blockchain immutable provenance — Natalia Gedranovich

“The products of Pixeos&Caer Sidi might become catalysts of the beginning of serious transformational processes in the art market. I am thrilled that I can witness it within and become a small part of these processes.”

Silence by Natalia Gedranovich. (2017) Oil, canvas. 100x75 cm.

Natalia’s onboarding is an important milestone for us. We are getting closer and closer to the outside-crypto art world. Natalia is a completely non-crypto artist who just learned about our technologies and honored us with her artwork ‘Silence’ that will be posted for sale in upcoming days.

Three excellent artists who make you stop scrolling

Let’s have a look at exceptional artists and their pieces that we’d like to highlight. 😊

LoveArtHate

LoveArtHate, who works in different techniques from glitch to pencil, has started the art journey back in 1989, and in 1998 was already experimenting with digital art. This artist is inspired by pop surrealism, minimalism and knows how to make you stare in the screen watching his animated artworks again, and again, and again.

Angie Taylor

Angie graduated from art school in the 1980s. In the 1990s she was a motion graphic designer and Adobe artist, that’s also the time when Angie started teaching other animation and art. Nowadays she creates remarkable digital sculptures and various 3D art-pieces. Angie makes you really feel the emotions of the artwork, doesn’t matter if it’s frustration, anger, or pure joy.

fabiello

With 3D, ink, and symbolism of his artworks, fabiello breaks the wall between physical and digital art. His artworks have more than just a visual part, they transform the usual objects giving them new meaning.
